Night Nevil Black Watch by Triwa

Really pleased here at StylePilot to try on the limited edition Night Nevil watch from Triwa. In Triwa’s own words: “the Nevil watch is our interpretation of the classic chronograph”.

Founded in 2007 by four friends with the goal to change the attitudes in the watch industry that they thought was too focused on status and tradition. They started the company TRIWA (Transforming the Industry of Watches) with the purpose to transform the watch into a modern style symbol through a combination of classic silhouettes and contemporary Scandinavian simplicity.

A 42 mm, all black, limited edition of Triwa’s most popular watch model Nevil.

Definitely a bold move to have a watch all in black, but it does really work! This was love at first sight!

Here expressed in matte black steel, matte black dial and a black organically tanned leather strap, from Tärnsjö Tannery. A unique limited model with a strong attitude.

That’s what you will see when you unbox it!

How to style it?

This was a no-brainer: we had to go for a black & white gear!

The Night Nevil is styled here with a leather jacket by Superdry and a white shirt by boohooMAN.

Timex X Red Wing Shoes Company

Just stumbled upon that (old) collaboration that we really liked at StylePilot. Since Timex and Red Wing Shoes are the very definition of American Heritage, we just thought we could publish those and have them in our archives.

You can still shop the Waterbury collection at Timex.

What made Red Wing Shoes Company the perfect partner for Timex is that each product is handmade and built to perform and outlast. Red Wing have more than a century of experience behind them, with their brand history and heritage.

Starting as the Waterbury Clock Company in Connecticut, 1854, Timex launched the collection of the same name to celebrate their 160th anniversary as an authentic watchmaker, using designs from the brand’s vast archives as inspiration.

Timex X Red Wing Shoes featured three unique timepieces, including one chronograph, with sleek black faces set against silver cases to perfectly show off the Red Wing Shoes leather straps.

About Red Wing Shoes Company

Red Wing Shoes was founded in Red Wing, Minnesota in 1905 and is built on the principle of manufacturing footwear that represents the American ideals of prosperous work and excellence. The straps used on The Waterbury feature leather tanned at Red Wing Shoe’s subsidiary, S.B. Foot Tanning Company, which is also located in Red Wing Minnesota.
